We have made some changes to the rules of procedures in the past years, as well as expanded into a year-long program with many online opportunities for engagement. Participants for this course will be a minimum age of 15 by December of the year of training, and must have previously attended an MMUN conference as a delegate.

COMMITTEE FORMAL DRESS

Bureau Members dress professionally during committee sessions and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies to mimic the appearance and decorum of activities at the United Nations. A suit and tie, dresses of an appropriate length, otherwise a blouse, sweater, or button-down shirt with slacks or suit pants are acceptable. Clothing should be subtle in color and pattern. Hair should be clean and out of the face. Jeans, shorts, tennis shoes and hats are not permitted.

SOCIAL EVENT CASUAL DRESS

A casual dress code is permitted for all social events.

Planning for the next steps

Once you have completed the course, you may apply to participate as a Bureau Member during an upcoming committee session for a Working Session or Conference.
