Nurturing tomorrow’s leaders through peace education
MMUN empowers students (9-15) through online and in-person events, creating solutions to critical global issues with their international peers using the UN format, in partnership with teachers and parents. Ages 9-15 represent a unique window of opportunity, according to Maria Montessori studies, where the brain is particularly receptive to social interaction and emotional intelligence. MMUN year-long program immerses students in an international peer community, fostering a lifelong impact on their lives by honing their empathy, critical thinking, academic writing, public speaking, debating, negotiation, and leadership skills. MMUN’s comprehensive two-day online and onsite courses equip educators (teachers, parents, club advisors, homeschool instructors) with the knowledge and tools to register and prepare conference delegates for a rewarding Model UN experience.
