MMUN reserves the right to deny access or cancel registration of any person or group of people that in its sole discretion deems to represent a likelihood of causing harm to conference attendees, to the decorum and the integrity of any of its conferences, or may put its confidential and copyrighted materials and information at risk of unauthorized use.
Refunds or Cancellations
All refunds or cancellations, if requested prior to the deadline, are subject to a 10% processing charge. Refund requests must be submitted prior to the posted deadline to email@example.com with the electronic payment receipt (email receipt) or the last 4 digits of the card used to process the payment transaction(s) along with names of school and participant(s) whose registration(s) need to be canceled. Conference fees are MANDATORY and composed by the School Registration Fee (per school group) and Participant Fee (per person). Conference registration is NOT complete until ALL conference fees are paid in full. Registrations will be cancelled if remainder fees are not received by the posted deadline. To learn about deadlines for the conference your group is registered for, please visit your conference page and click on the side tab Conference Deadlines.
Country & Committee Assignments
Schools registering student delegates to attend a MMUN conference will be given a selection of countries and committees to choose from based on their group size. When selecting a country on the school dashboard, coordinators must base their decision on their accurate number of student delegates (respecting the minimum and maximum per delegation). In event of group size decrease due to cancellation(s), coordinators must release the existing country from the school dashboard and select a new country appropriate to their group size before the early bird deadline. Failure to honor this policy implies that student delegate spots were held inadequately, and therefore could not be taken by other schools. The penalty fee for breach of this policy is $195USD per student delegate spot.
Delegations who fail to submit their position paper(s) by the proposed deadline, will lose their “delegate” status, and therefore have to attend the conference as observers. To learn about the position paper deadline for the conference your group is registered for, visit your conference page and click on the side tab Conference Deadlines.
