MMUN Connects Year-round!

MMUN Connects Year-round!

At No Additional Cost!

MMUN has expanded its program to grow international connections throughout the school year through dedicated working sessions and group activities for student participants. In addition, we are providing additional scaffolding to support teachers throughout the entire process of preparing students from the point of country selection to the actual committee sessions and beyond .. all in one complete program which is included with conference registrations. Now delegates, teachers, and parents can come together to learn, share, and exchange ideas at no additional extra cost! Our goal is to ensure that our participants stay connected as a global community, whether or not we are able to meet in person.

The MMUN Conference Package now includes optional support and activities to accompany the preparation process and the sense of belonging to a larger community:

  • For teachers and parents: live interactive discussions about preparations and procedures with teacher exchanges on best practices for MMUN in the classroom
  • For students:
    • Working sessions where students apply committee protocol to pressing societal questions with their peers, engaging them to think creatively about global issues that specifically affect young people.
    • Community meet-ups with informal exchanges and social activities to strengthen the sense of belonging to a larger community beyond their classroom
  • For all participants: A library of informative webinars and documents
  • For English Language Learners – new resources to support our international community members who have the challenging task of preparing for MMUN when English is a foreign language.

All of these events are available to registered teachers, parents, and delegates free of charge.

You will find all of the links to register for the free online Working Sessions and Meet-ups included in the MMUN Connects Year-round program on the MMUN Eventbrite Organizer page.
